Jeff Sessions Sucks (And So Can You)

There hasn’t been a person named by president-elect Donald Trump to any position who hasn’t been lambasted by the New York Times as the worst, most dangerous, choice for that position ever.  That goes for the Attorney General pick, Jeff Sessions. It would be nice to report that Mr. Sessions, who is now 69, has conscientiously worked to dispel the shadows that cost him the judgeship. Instead, the years since his last confirmation hearing reveal a pattern of dogged animus to civil rights and the progress of black Americans and immigrants. Based on his record, we can form a fairly clear picture of what his Justice Department would look like: For starters, forget about aggressive protection of civil rights, and of voting rights in particular. Mr. Sessions has called the Voting Rights Act of 1965 a “piece of intrusive legislation.” Under him, the department would most likely focus less on prosecutions of minority voter suppression and more on…

Home visits must follow the same rules as billing at a physician's office. In addition, in certain clinics we have seen an increase in offices using foreign doctors not licensed in the U.S. to help with the workload and where services gradually creep into the unlicensed practice of medicine.A recent case shows what happens when unlicensed personnel bill for services under another physician's name. On December 9, 2016, Renald Dasine, an unlicensed Michigan physician, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud before U.S. District Judge John Corbett O’Meara of the Eastern District of Michigan.  Sentencing has been scheduled for March 8, 2017. As part of his guilty plea, Mr. Dasine admitted that in connection with his employment at a Detroit in-home physician services company known as B and M Visiting Doctors PLC, he submitted fraudulent claims to Medicare from 2005 to 2013. Mr. Dasine admitted he saw patients…

Here are 3 resolutions that may help you get your case dismissed quickly and cost-effectively… Resolution 1 – Don’t Discuss Alcohol or Drug Use with the Police When police officers respond to a 911 call in Stamford, Greenwich, Wilton on Darien Connecticut for a Disorderly Conduct investigation, they are faced with making a rushed decision on whether they should arrest you, or just give you and your family a warning. As the best criminal lawyers and attorneys in Darien and Greenwich Connecticut know, police have WIDE discretion in making this decision (so if they tell you that they don’t have a choice, that can…
